CRAPS Rules
Below is a list of all the bets that can be made at craps. It tells you what that bet entails; how you can win, and how you would lose that bet. As Online Craps is quite a step above all over casino games in the amount of bets that can be made it is no wonder why people can find Craps intimidating. But if you read through these Craps Rules carefully and practice playing as a guest at Spin Palace Online Casino then there you will undoubtedly never find the game craps complicated ever again. It is also advised that you read through the strategies provided. These will give you a much better chance of winning money, as it tells you the bets that will decrease the house edge immensely
Pass Line Bet: Betting on the 'pass line', means that if the come-out roll is a 7 or an 11 you win and loses if it is craps (2, 3, 12). If another number is rolled, it becomes the 'point'. What that means is that the same number has to be rolled again before a 7 to win, if a 7 comes up then you lose
Don't Pass Line Bet:Betting on the 'don't pass line' means that if the come out roll is a 2 or a 3 you win and lose if it's a 7 or an 11. If the number is a 12, it's a push where nobody wins or loses. If a point is established on the first roll, then a 7 must be rolled before the point is repeated to make you a winner
Betting with Odds: It is possible to place odds on your pass, don't pass, come, or don't come bets. It's a way of increasing your payoff and bet without increasing the odds against you. Since an odds bet is one of the best in the casino, there is little point to placing a pass line bet without backing it up with odds. Just remember, you place your pass line bet before the come out roll, but you can only back it up with odds after a point has been established.
Come Bet: Same as the pass line bet, except that it allows you to set your own point, that is after a point has been established for the rest of the table. After the bet is placed, the first roll is your own personal come point and that point must be rolled before a 7 for you to win. If the first roll is a 7 or an 11 you win; if it's a 2, 3, or 12 you lose.
Don't Come Bet: Same rules as the don't pass bet and of course is the opposite of the come bet. After the bet is placed, the first roll is the come point and a 7 must be rolled before that point for you to win. If the first roll is a 2 or 3 you win automatically which obviously means that if it's a 7 or 11 you lose
Proposition and Hardway Bets: On the left of the table you will see a small box with dices in them. This books consists of 2 sections; The Hardway bets and the Proposition Bets. You can find an explanation of the two below:
Proposition Bets: Probably the most simple rules in craps. This rule basically means that you are betting on one throw of the dice. You basically are betting that any of the following comes up

Hardways Bets: Hardway bets basically mean two dice which are the same which add up to certain numbers. Not all pairs of dices are involved. Below we have a table of what you can bet on and the payout for each bet
| Dice |

7 - 1 |
Big Six or Big Eight
Bet: This bet wins if a 6 or an 8 is rolled before a 7, and can be placed at any point in the game.
Field Bets: This is a one-roll bet where you win if a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, or a 12 is rolled. If you receive a 2 you will get double money, and if you receive a 12 you will receive triple money, otherwise you will receive even money (1:1). If any other number is rolled, you lose.
Place Bets: Any of these bets can only be placed after the point has been determined; only then you can place either the 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or the 10. You win if the number you placed a bet on comes up before a 7; otherwise, you lose. The Place Bets are located on the very top box of the craps table

CRAPS Strategies
Craps along with roulette is a game of "chance." There is no physical way of editing or predicting the outcome of the dice unless you are in a land based casino and cheat, but be warned Casino Owners do not take lightly to cheaters and they are punished severely. The only way that you can win on Craps is if you use certain strategies that will help boost the odds of winning no end. Bellow is a table of the probability of the dice landing on a certain number. Below Spin Palace have also provided some craps tips, in order for you to understand why certain bets are better then others

Craps Tips There are ways in which you will be able to make a profit playing craps. These include the "good" and "bad" bets. What this basically means is that there are certain bets that would be beneficial for you to play instead of others. These consist of the following:
Good Bets: 1) Pass Line Bet - The house edge is only 1.41% 2) Don't Pass Bet - The house edge is only 1.40% 3) Come Bet - The house edge is only 1.41% 4) Don't Come Bet - The house edge is only 1.40%
Bad Bets: 1) The Field Bet - House edge is 5.6% 2) Big 6 or Big 8 - House edge is 9.1% 3) Hard Bets - House edge is 12.5% 4) Craps 2 or Craps 12 - House edge is 13.9% 5) Any 7: 16.7%
As you can see the good bets only have a 1.405% average, whereas the bad bets have between 5.6% - 16.7%. That is why these bets are called bad bets. There is also a way to decrease the house edge even further. This is done by placing the "odds bet." The odds bet means that you are placing more money on your "point" from the pass/Don't pass bet or come/Don't come bet, also to place even more you can put money on the actual "point" to win the hand, and you can "buy" more odds by putting chips on the "buy" square on the point number. This actually lowers the house edge by up to 40% which means if the house edge was 1.4% it would now be around 0.6%. So as you can see by playing the good bets it is possible to make a very large profit playing craps, which is why Craps is so popular, especially online

Craps History
The Dice are without a shadow of doubt the oldest gambling tool in the known history of mankind. The Dice have been around since 600 B.C. in Egypt. Dice became the only gambling tool amongst the ancient world, with the soldiers of virtually all armies playing with dice and even the Roman Emperor Augustine being a devoted Dice Player. It then was only a matter of time before someone took the idea of gambling with dice to the next level
But the History of Craps is actually debatable. One thing that is certain is that the game originated from a game called "Hazard" and this is where it gets complicated; One theory is that it was "Sir William of Tyre" and his knights who invented "Hazard" while the besieging of a castle called "Hazarth" this would mean that Hazard is a variation of Hazarth. But another theory is that, as the Encyclopaedia Britannica says, the name came from the Arabic words 'al zar' or 'azzah' which actually means "the dice". This would obviously imply the game is of Arabic origin
Of course the game did not have the same rules as today but it did have the basic function of the craps table. Hazard was then renamed in france to Craps as we know it today, and then it is said that either the French or the British brought the game to America where the the rules that we know and love were also invented. After the introduction of the internet and online casinos, Online Craps burst onto the scene, becoming one of the most played casino games online in the online gambling industry
